WHERE WE ARE

Marshall Springs Resort & Spa is located near the hamlet of Brookmere, B.C. approximately 30 minutes drive southwest of Merritt, B.C. and 55 minutes drive northwest of Hope, B.C. using the Coquihalla Hwy (#5).

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Vancouver / Hope – follow the Coquihalla Hwy (#5) northeast through the Tollbooth to Exit #256 – Coldwater Road and exit to the right. Turn right on Coldwater Road and follow it approximately 10km to Brookmere Station Road and turn left.

From Kamloops / Merritt – follow the Coquihalla Hwy (#5) southwest to Exit #256 – Coldwater Road and exit to the right. Follow the underpass to Coldwater Road and drive approximately 10km to Brookmere Station Road and turn left.

From Kelowna – follow Highway #97 southwest to Westbank, B.C. and exit right onto Highway #97C (Coquihalla Connector) and follow to Merritt. Take the Coquihalla Hwy (#5) southwest to Exit #256 – Coldwater Road and exit to the right. Follow the underpass to Coldwater Road and drive approximately 10km to Brookmere Station Road and turn left.

LOCATION:

  • Highways: Located 30 minutes Southwest of Merritt BC on Hwy # 5, Exit # 256  (15 minutes north of the Coquihalla Highway Toll Booth)
  • Airports: Kamloops is 90 minutes away; Kelowna is two hours; Abbotsford is two hours
  • Food, beverage and shopping: Merritt B.C. is 30 minutes away for shopping, dining and entertainment.

      • Kettle Valley Rail Trail
      • Brookmere
      • Quilchena -  in the old settlement of Nicola, view one of the most photographed structures in British Columbia, the Murray Church, built in 1876.
      • Douglas Lake Ranch established in 1886, is Canada's largest working cattle ranch. The ranch is approximately 515,000 acres in size, has in the neighbourhood of 18,000 head of cattle and employs 60 people. In addition, the ranch has two of North America's top lakes for producing rainbow trout and operates a general store and post office

  • Wineries in the region: Mission Hill in Westbank, Sumac Ridge Estate Winery in Summerland, Tinhorn Creek Estate Winery in Oliver
  • Four-Season Recreation (all found within 2 hours drive of Marshall Springs):
    • Hiking - Kettle Valley Trail
    • Skiing – a newly proposed all-season resort in Juliet Valley located near the summit of the Coquihalla will consist of a base village, golf course, ski lifts, alpine trails and ecotourism. It is slated to open in 2007/2008
